A global logistics company was struggling to turn their abundance of data into actionable information to drive elevated services to their end customers. With nearly 20TB of disparate data and a Board directive to enhance their analytic capabilities as part of their AWS migration, the client turned to ALINED to assist with their data trek.
ALINED partnered with our client’s leadership and numerous applicable organizations to perform a rapid current state assessment over two months. The team identified numerous opportunities to enhance their current data strategy to enable: a real-time data ingestion and storage solution, institution of data quality and lineage standards, implementation of a data catalog, establishment of a common data model, implementation of a metrics layer within the data architecture, and a strategy to migrate their Strategic Analytics platform to a more robust cloud solution.
The client received Board approval to implement all recommendations with ALINED’s assistance.
